When the fecal suction hose is submerged under the liquid surface and air is drawn in, the tank pressure gradually decreases, causing fecal liquid to enter through the hose under atmospheric pressure. As the siphon tube approaches the tank bottom, air is continuously discharged, increasing internal pressure, which forces feces outside through the siphon tube and suction hose via compressed air action.
